Description:
Inspired by a trip to Kata Tjuta (The Olgas), this piece has a textured surface with glossy raised green bands, alternating with depressed textured black ones, simulating areas of water erosion on a monolithic landscape. Green oribe glaze has pulled in the centre, between the three domes, representing a still and serene pool of water. Your first reaction is to run your hand over it to appreciate the highly tactile surface.
