Our antique teak stands are repurposed from the wheel of the sugar cane wagon. Wagons are used to crush sugar cane and is predominant in traditional ceremonies throughout the Indonesian archipelago. A marriage ceremony between sugar canes is held to bless the harvest with a belief that the marriage will create a large quality harvest.
